In this exclusive MIJF edition of PBS 106.7FM’s popular Rock-A-Bye Baby sessions, iconic Melbourne funk/soul trio Cookin’ On 3 Burners will be joined by vocalist Stella Angelico as they bring their Hammond drenched grooves to the Darebin Arts Centre.

Joining the dots between Deep Funk, Raw Soul, Organ Jazz & Boogaloo, on one hand, there are clues to a spiritual home that’s situated somewhere in the back streets of 1966, but on the other is a reinvented soul stew that’s very much a product of the 21st Century.

This is a show for adults and kids of all ages where noise is welcomed and crawling is expected!

Travel to Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre: Please be advised that there will be roadworks which may affect your travel to and from the Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre. High Street, between Westgarth Street and Hoddle Street in Northcote will be closed for essential bridge upgrade and tram track renewal works. Detours will be in place. Presented by Darebin Arts Speakeasy and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival
