“My View From Here” – Darebin Film Making Project

My View From Here was a film making project run by Darebin Arts in February through May 2014.

The project asked the question: “What does life in Darebin look like to you?”

The project sought to encourage the use of simple (and not so simple!) technology to make films of 7 minutes or less responding to the theme ‘My View From Here’.  A selection of the best short films were screened at a special celebration on 25 May 2014.
Throughout the project, participants had the opportunity to learn from professional film makers through a series of workshops in schools and in community settings at a “Pop Up Film Studio”.

Below are the films selected for screening.
The full catalogue of special selections can also be viewed at the Darebin Arts Youtube Channel.
